The numerical simulation of the quantum dynamics of lattice spin systems is a delicate, challenging task due to high dimensionality and strong correlations. Recently, a class of numerical methods employing the Wigner-Weyl phase space formalism have shown very remarkable numerical results for correlated spin dynamics. We aim at the so far missing numerical analysis of these methods and possibly to their extension to fermionic systems.
