This is a renewal proposal. It concerns the coordination during the 3rd period of the Priority Programme 1296: Heterogeneous Nucleation and Microstructure Formation: Steps towards a Systemand Scale-Bridging Understanding. Thus it is based on the proposal of the first and second phase as well as the development of the priority program in its first two phases. Since most of the coordination activities proposed (see proposal for the first and second period) and implemented during the first two phases have proven to be quite successful (see enclosed progress report), only slight additions for coordination activities in the third phase are planned. These are denoted in red in the following proposal.
