Zusammenfassung der Projektergebnisse
In summary, all anticipated goals fo the project have been accomplished. The application of a method for high-precision Ce isotope measurements, which has been developed as part of a former DFG project, has resulted in the anticipated novel constraints on the composition of the Hawaiian plume source. This study has contributed to the training of a PhD student and forms part of his award-winning thesis at the University of South Carolina, USA, and has promoted transfer of knowledge and researchers between the University of South Carolina and the WWU Münster.
