Invective codifications of interculturality: Ethnographic situation analyses in qualification measures for institutions of the migration society (R)

In an ethnographic and situation-analytical approach, sub-project R focuses on three didactic arenas of (inter )cultural education, in which the avoidance of or coping with (unintentional) invectives is practiced, and the distribution and legitimation of knowledge and social positions is organized. In a comparative analysis, the project investigates the ways in which cultural markers of difference are structured by the latency of the invective. Moreover, it explores which communicative forms of realizing and avoiding manifest invectives are characteristic of 'intercultural' situations, and how they contribute to the (re)production, erosion, or transformation of social order.
