The Z3 project is the organisational basis of the CRC 1036 and deals with all administrative matters. It comprises the central administration of the CRC, all aspects of staff, funds and expenditures, interaction and communication with the members of the board, the project leaders, the DFG, the University of Heidelberg, the University Hospital as well as the non-university institutions DKFZ and EMBL. In addition, it organizes meetings, seminars, international symposia, lectures and retreats, coordinates PhD and postdoc programs and handles gender equality measures.
