Project Details
Adaptive systems for flow sensing and control (B02)
Subject Area
Microsystems
Term
from 2011 to 2019
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 133733460
Project B2 provides the necessary components to control the flow of active high-lift flaps by integrated actuators and micro-mechanical sensors. The focus of the third funding period is the implementation on real aircraft structures. Besides a robust and scalable actuation concept, the sensor technology shall be investigated to allow a reliable, economical and functional integration into real, complex curved structures. The results will be used to equip the experimental model of NWB wind tunnel tests with actuators and sensors, with the aim of functionally validating the developed concepts under realistic conditions.
