Integration of a new developed platform in the surgical workflow

In the scope of the DFG research group project single-port technology for gastroenterologic and visceralsurgical endoscopic interventions an operation platform was developed. Based on this and the working packages 1-3 and 5 of the new proposal refined systems shall be integrated for the optimization for the performance potential in the interventional workflow. Hereby, a constant communication between the platform and the so-called cooperative communication environment (KIU) as well as the requirements for an active mutual interaction will be created.As a result, an efficient operating process with simultaneous reduction of workload of the OR members and increase of the safety level through automated error prevention strategies will be achieved.
