Project Details
Imaging of Systemic Bone Pathology and its Therapy using Micro- and Nano-CT Technology ((22) Z03)
Subject Area
Medicine
Term
from 2010 to 2019
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 107540325
Project Z3 is responsible for a 3D-characterization of 1. bone substitute materials (M2-M4), 2. animal models of experimental osteoporosis (T1, B7), 3. specimens of human origin (B11) and the interaction of bone substitute materials with bone tissue in animal models (T2/B7) using micro- and nano-CT. It includes the transfer of image data to the projects M5 and M8 for their methods of in-silico-modeling and the data post processing using the HFS-method which was is resided in Z3. Furthermore, as a central-project Z3 supports all projects for their demands regarding a high-resolution 3D imaging.
