In M4, two-component-scaffolds consisting of a calcium phosphate cement-based framework structure (M2) and mineralized collagen will be developed. For scaffolds with clinically relevant dimensions, concepts for an effective integration of drug depots delivering chemoattractive and angiogenic factors are to be established and tested. The generation of allogenic agent mixtures from conditioned cell culture media will be further developed with the aim to achieve consistent quality. Strontium-modified scaffolds of mineralized collagen as well as the allogenic agent mixtures will be characterized in terms of their influence on biological processes (immunologically with B5 and M3).
