Final Report Abstract
The project under report concerned scattering in quantum field theory, especially infrared problems and the problem of asymptotic completeness. A number of results have been obtained, both on the side of relativistic and non-relativistic quantum field theory. They range from spectral analysis of abstract groups of automorphisms, to properties of asymptotic observables in very concrete models. This project provided a solid foundation for my further investigations of scattering in quantum field theory.
