Goal of the transfer centre is the deployment of concepts in the areasof Workflow Management Systems and Object Technology for DistributedSystems. The concepts were developed in the collaborative research centre 182 from 1986 to 1998. In this transfer centre, those concepts shall be implemented in prototypes to prove their suitability in industry projects, or they shall be enhanced to become applicable in industry projects.The scenario for this demonstration is a complex application systemin an industrial plant project. The industrial partners expectnew insights and evaluation results about a new software technology,which allows shorter product cycles combined with a higher productquality.
