UHPLC-coupled triple quadrupole mass spectrometer with microplate-compatible autosampler

Subject Area Molecular Chemistry
Biological Chemistry and Food Chemistry
Term Funded in 2024
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 547925375

To support and strengthen the research priorities of designated areas of the Institute of Chemistry at MLU Halle-Wittenberg, a UHPLC-coupled triple quadrupole mass spectrometer with a microtiter plate-compatible autosampler is being applied for. The requested device is intended to enable the processing of questions relating to bio-catalysis and homogeneous catalysis, to help clarify the precise structure of small model polymers and oligomers and to address questions relating to food chemistry. A particular focus is on the analysis of catalytic reactions in high throughput, for example to tailor suitable enzymes for specific problems through directed evolution.
