Subject Area
Biological Psychiatry
Term
since 2024
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 521379614
The project aims to understand the biopsychosocial mechanisms underlying disease trajectories in affective disorders. Utilizing data from DFG FOR and BMBF Early-BipoLife cohorts (n=4,105) as well as CRC/TRR 2-year follow-up data spanning in total 11 years, the project explores the association of brain structure and function with (i) past disease trajectories; (ii) prospective disease trajectories and symptom changes; (iii) early and late environmental risk and protective factors; (iv) biological; and (v) behavioral measures; along with (vi) treatment.
