In A08 we investigate dipolar few-body systems based on laser-cooled CaF molecules prepared in single optical tweezers or arrays of optical tweezers. We will study molecular two- and three-body interactions, explore possibilities for the controlled production of polyatomic molecules, and study bound states based on dipolar interactions. We will also prepare molecules in small arrays of optical tweezers to gain insight into phenomena such as quantum magnetism and frustration. This project will be carried out in close collaboration with A03 and A04.
