D02 focuses on genomics, aiming to develop SNPstar 2.0 and predict proteoform candidates with high functional variation based on genomic data. SNPstar 2.0, enhanced with structural models from D01, will feature displays of nsSNP-affected residues and expand to other plant species. The project will introduce a quantitative score for SNP effects on proteoform structure and function. This score aids wet-lab scientists in selecting high-scoring variants for experimental analysis in the second funding period, bridging the gap between genomic information and functional consequences of SNPs.
