Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 520471345
This project addresses the long-standing question in the field as to whether the concentrations of the translation components change with chronic exposure to oxidative stress, and how this influences translation fidelity and proteome composition. For this, we will obtain a full quantitative inventory of the translation machinery (Ignatova group) and combine that with statistical modeling (Tresch group) using cell model systems and different murine tissues.
