The collaboration concentrates on the spectroscopy of super- and hyper-deformed nuclear shapes in the actinide region. Using the combination of the experimental possibilities in Munich and in Debrecen we want to study the following questions: - the shape of the triple-humped fission barrier in 231,233Th and 232U. - picosecond fission-isomers in 232,234U and their branching to superasymmetric fission. - the mass- and TKE-distributions of resonances in the third minimum of 233Th and 234U to search for a cluster structure in the third minimum. - High resolution spectroscopy of the E0-back decay of 236fU and of the decay within the second minimum of 236U and 237Pu.
