Project Details
Functional model for the perpetual product (A05)
Subject Area
Engineering Design, Machine Elements, Product Development
Term
since 2024
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 471687386
In subproject A05, the functional model for the perpetual product is developed, which enables the decision on the reliability of a unique new product from returning products as a basis for the control of the circular factory. First, the factor space of the instance-specific tolerance scheme is determined using the example of angle grinders and the model is structured (WP1). Subsequently, data on determined correlations in the factor space are collected (WP2). In WP3, quantitative statements on the quality of the function are combined on the basis of the tolerance scheme. Finally, the functional model is verified in WP4 on the basis of diagnostic data and further test bench trials.
