Numerical integration methods for differential equations with different time scales are to be constructed and analyzed with respect to accuracy and stability. This shall be done primarily for the equations of mixed quantumclassical molecular dynamics (QCMD and related models). Away from resonances, the methods should admit time steps independent of the scale parameter and yield uniform approximations from non-adiabatic behaviour down to the weak adiabatic limit.
