Project identifier

We will establish a real-life intervention platform that incorporates both momentary assessment and intervention into everyday life. In 180 heavy drinkers, we will manipulate loneliness and craving for alcohol - contexts found to be highly relevant to AUD in the 1st FP - with cognitive reappraisal and physical activity interventions. Our real-life intervention platform will be a powerful tool to detect causality in a wealth of everyday life influences on substance use and it will offer new avenues for low-threshold prevention and therapy.
