B02 Concurrent Editing and Transactionality (B02)

This project investigates transactional guarantees for concurrent modifications of views defined on one underlying model simplify the ongoing development by different parties. Our central research question is how can the transactionality concept be transferred from database research to V-SUMs to additionally preserve consistency after concurrent edit operations, and what are the trade-offs between optimistic and pessimistic approaches regarding consistency preservation? This project contributes to the CRC by investigating transactional consistency guarantees of artefacts during the development of CPS.
