Digital signal processings (C08)

Subproject 08 will focus on the potential applications arising from recent advances in fast digital signal processing. Within 08, a novel heterogeneous computing architecture will be developed, combining for the first time very fast analog interfaces with highly complex Field Programmable Gate Arrays and powerful Graphics Processing Unit modules. This will provide a universal platform for fast digital signal processing that will optimally support the future requirements of modern radio astronomy and extremely high data rates.
