The role of neuroblastoma-secreted exosomes in pre-metastatic niche formation (C06)

In this project, the interactions between exosomes of neuroblastoma cells and endothelial layers in zebrafish will be investigated. For this, fluorescence imaging, bulk RNA-Seq and proteomics will be used to characterize proangiogenic or invasion-associated signatures and identify potential endothelial signatures as biomarkers. The results will be used to interrupt the invasion/metastasis cascade and progression of highly malignant neuroblastoma.
