Investigation and quantitative determination of the influence of the stress ratio on the fatigue lifetime estimation of welded and riveted structures. Probabilistic estimation of the fatigue lifetime given by loading cycles from welded and riveted specimens from ULCF to VHCF. Analysis and evaluation between the results given by the Weibull and Stüssi models. Comparison of the obtained results with those obtained by the Basquin model, which is applied in the standards and guidelines. Formulation of a procedure and criteria to evaluate experimental fatigue data from steel structures and to estimate the fatigue life by applying the proposed models.
