The aim of the network is a joint publication, which sets new standards for engagements with form in literary scholarship and which takes up and develops further the currently growing interest in questions of form and formalism. At the same time, the network instigates a more intensive collaboration and co-authorship than is generally common for literary scholarship. Thus, "form in dialogue" constitutes both the topic and the method of the network.
