To further strengthen OA publishing at the GU, the project aims to support the already ongoing transition from a subscription-based literature supply to OA publication funding with structural measures. On the one hand, this is achieved by operating a reliable and barrier-free central funding offer for OA publications in the form of OA publication funds for articles, data supplements and books.On the other hand, a university bibliography is being set up to complete the overview of the publication output at the GU, especially with regard to books and printed publications, and thus to be able to better control the OA transformation. A complete overview of the costs of publications at the GU is already available in the form of a virtual information budget. Measures are planned to further increase efficiency in recording and managing expenses.
