The TU Berlin is applying for a grant for the years 2023 to 2025 as part of the DFG program Open Access Publication Costs. The need arises from the estimated costs required for Open Access journal articles, Open Access books and retroactive funds for the DEAL contracts with SpringerNature and Wiley. The application showcases the range of measures with which the TU Berlin plans to achieve an improved overview of the total publication volume and of the central and decentralised publication costs during the application period. In close contact with the finance, research, and controlling departments at the TU Berlin, it should be possible to take concrete steps towards achieving an integrated information budget towards the end of the application period.
