The exact analytical and numerical description of interacting many-body systems is practically impossible due to the high complexity of these systems. For many systems, however, an effective description that accurately reflects the basic features of the system is feasible. In this project we will derive an effective description of interacting Fermi gases that also takes correlations between the particles into account and thereby provides a very accurate approximation to the real system, namely an approximation in norm. The behavior of the correlations plays a crucial role in many interesting physical phenomena, in particular the phenomenon of bosonification, which is crucial for
