Potential-dependent capacitance curves shall be determined for varying concentrations predominantly at a Ag(111) electrode, both in aqueous and aprotic electrolytes. These will then be modelled by our cooperating partner at the Weierstrass Institut. We will thus be able to elucidate a number of electrolyte data, as the ionic radii and the extent of ion pair formation as a function of concentration. In addition we will get informations on the thickness of the solvent layer in front of the electrode, i.e. between metal and the diffuse layer.
