Project Details
HPLC coupled high resolution mass spectrometer with ESI, APCI and LIFDI ion sources.
Subject Area
Analytical Chemistry
Term
Funded in 2022
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 508326251
A high-resolution mass spectrometer with a coupled HPLC system for the analysis of small molecules is to be procured, which is able to determine masses with an accuracy of 3 ppm or better. The device is said to have an electrospray (ESI), an atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (APCI) and a LIFDI ion source. The coupled HPLC system should have an autosampler for automatic sample application, a quaternary pump, a column thermostat with a column switching valve and a UV detector. The device is to be operated centrally in a core-facility and should be used for multiple working groups and projects.
