Project Details
In situ and operando NMR measurements of processes under harsh process conditions (C03)
Subject Area
Microsystems
Term
since 2022
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 454252029
To gain a comprehensive view, it is preferable to measure process behavior by NMR in-situ and operando. However, there is a lack of highly sensitive measurement possibilities for harsh condi-tions (temperatures up to some hundred Kelvin, pressure to several MPa). Thus, open questions in terms of process performance, parameter optimization etc. remain. To answer these, new ap-proaches for measurements are requested by science and industry. The project aims to develop and examine miniaturized equipment to be used under harsh process conditions in standard high- and low-field NMR systems as well as in new NMR devices to be developed within the CRC.
