The research of the working groups of inorganic chemistry and metal-organic chemistry as well as of organic chemistry (supramolecular chemistry, new materials) needs a modern, flexible NMR device that fulfills very different requirements since it shall replace two old NMRspectrometers. Therefore, we apply for a 400 MHz spectrometer, which - in addition to classical reaction control - will enable time- and temperature-dependent in situ measurements and NMR titration experiments for the investigation of supramolecular complexes as well. Furthermore, heteronuclear NMR studies for the characterization of organometallic complexes are of particular interest. In addition, NMR experiments that require simultaneous 19F/1H and X-nucleus excitation which necessitates special RF technique, in particular for the probe to be used, are of particular interest. A sample changer should guarantee the efficient use of the instrument and the optional change from administrator to "open-access" operation.
