Project Details
X-ray holo-tomography: less constraints and higher dimensions! (C01)
Subject Area
Optics, Quantum Optics and Physics of Atoms, Molecules and Plasmas
Term
from 2007 to 2019
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 28586557
The project will significantly enhance holographic x-ray imaging and tomography. The goals are: optimized phase retrieval with less idealizations, higher dimensionality, in particular by generalisation to time-resolved imaging, an extension from synchrotron-based phase contrast imaging to compact laboratory sources, and closing the gap from proof-of-concept to applications on cells and tissue.
