Project Details
isoSTED microscopy within tissue (A01)
Subject Area
Optics, Quantum Optics and Physics of Atoms, Molecules and Plasmas
Term
from 2007 to 2019
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 28586557
The aim of this project is to expand isoSTED microscopy to imaging under strongly aberrated imaging conditions, such as those introduced by thick biological tissue. By introducing an adaptive optics based aberration correction system it will be possible to achieve resolutions similar to those obtained nowadays under optimized imaging conditions. In addition, we intend to make the microscope available the other projects of the SFB and to explore the feasibility of isoSTED FCS essays.
