The objective of the transfer project is to develop a methodology for efficient modeling and calculation of the heat balance of linear compact drives and their cooling structure. The models should take into account the thermal interactions between fluid circuits, relatively moving structure and environment. Furthermore, the models should be able to determine the temporal and spatial temperature field depending on the occurring thermal loads (heat sources, cooling).
