Project B12 examines the crisis management by four globally active international organizations (IOs) (WHO, the World Bank, the OECD, the ILO) and four IOs active at the world-regional level (the EU, ASEAN, Mercosur, the African Union) during the Covid-19 pandemic. For the fields of health policy, labor market policy, and basic social protection, the content is analyzed in terms of coverage and generosity as well as coherence, complementarity, and differentiation of tasks between IOs. The national level is accounted for by member state case studies (Sweden, South Africa, Thailand, Uruguay).
