In project W06, we will investigate the dynamics and propagation of excitons in organic nanostructures that are coupled to plasmonic particles by time-resolved pump-probe and photoelectron emission microscopy. The hybrid architectures are prepared on surfaces and optimized with regard to feature sizes and structural characteristics. We will address diffusive and ballistic exciton transport in spatio-temporal measurement schemes. The studies serve the long-term aim of organic circuitry networks for energy transport and information processing.
