It is our goal to improve our systems and workflow in order to enhance and refine accounting of all expenses as associated with open- access publishing. We plan to build out the accounting software to allow for capturing of additional expense types (OA Publications) and allocation of expenses to departmental budget lines in addition to establishing the relationship to third party funding.Starting in 2022 financial resources as made available for open- access publications by the institution will be centrally administered by library personnel. It is our endeavor, to improve internal communication between the administration, library personnel and scientists in order to ensure bureaucratic access to financial resources for open-access publishing. We will continue to use EPrints as our access platform and repository for OA publications. We plan to add an additional metadata field in EPrints to allow the allocation of publications to third party funding, when applicable.
