Project Details
Contact-free Measurement of Stress, its Determinants and Consequences (D03)
Subject Area
General, Cognitive and Mathematical Psychology
Term
since 2021
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 442419336
The aim of this project is to allow contactless assessment of stress through employing empathoki-naesthetic sensors. Stress has profound effects on human health and productivity and is therefore a major research priority. However, advances in stress research are hampered by traditional stress measurement methods, which are expensive and usually invasive. In D03, acute laboratory stress experiments will be conducted to investigate how contact-less assessment of micro- as well as macro-movements of the human body in cooperation with A02, A04 and A05 can be used to measure stress.
