A facility for spectrally high-resolution cw spectroscopy on solids is to be built. The core piece is a user friendly, tunable cw laser system, which on the one hand allows narrow band excitation with defined absolute wavelengths and on the other hand covers a wide wavelength range (max. 300-3000 nm). The excitation laser system will be used flexibly for photoluminescence and photoluminescence excitation spectroscopy (PLE) of excitonic resonances and color centers, as well as for optical detection of magnetic resonance, Raman spectroscopy and spectroscopic ellipsometry.
