Project Details
Hybrid computational strategies for the study of cell states (B04)
Subject Area
Biophysics
Term
since 2021
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 424228829
Sánchez-García will use machine learning, molecular modelling and multiscale computational approaches in combination with in silico mutagenesis to describe critical protein-protein interac-tion interfaces, predict effective mutations and model compound-interactions for optimization. The goal is to provide vital support to develop and improve chemical compounds and to devel-op predictive computational models for the regulation of biomolecular interactions as a basis for experiments aiming at a mechanistic understanding of triggers of cell state transitions.
