Kaiser will provide a platform for PROTACs for genetically-tagged proteins as well as custom made PROTACs with already available compounds to many groups in the CRC. He will focus on developing novel peptidomimetic compounds as building blocks for PROTACs to initially target HTRA1 and then extend to additional targets relevant for the CRC. Conversely, he will use peptidomimetics for recruitment of additional E3 ubiquitin ligases to increase the methodo-logical repertoire. In parallel, we will develop targeted chemical probes with an initial focus on modulation of the metastatic transition.
