The aim of this subproject is to investigate transport processes in disturbed two-component thin films for non-isothermal drop impact. Here, momentum and mass transport in the fluid film are investigated under the influence of temperature gradients between droplet and film fluid and coupled flow processes resulting from density and surface tension gradients. Another focus will be the investigation of transport processes in the fluid film during droplet impact on films under aerodynamic disturbance. The new benchmark data will be used for validation or model assessment.
