This project undertakes a systematic and historical reconstruction of Paul Ricœur’s hermeneutical œuvre in collaboration with more than 60 colleges from all over Europe. It seeks to establish the state of the art as regards the sources, the genealogy of Ricœur’s main works and their historical context by way of an interdisciplinary elaboration of key concepts and their interrelations in order to critically evaluate the ›powers of hermeneutics‹ in its most advanced form.
