The subproject A06 deals with the dependencies of weather conditions, working vessels, and components of megastructures, in particular to evaluate the logistic feasibility of offshore megastructures in rough seas and to incorporate this into the design at an early stage. The main focus is on the prediction of the floating and motion behaviour of components and work vessels to determine limits for installation (installation boundary conditions) and maintenance operations. The objective of the subproject A06 is the development of a fast model for predicting the motion behaviour of floating offshore megastructures for the Digital Twin.
