Project Details
The role of individual tolerance for community assembly during degradation and recovery (A20)
Subject Area
Hydrogeology, Hydrology, Limnology, Urban Water Management, Water Chemistry, Integrated Water Resources Management
Term
since 2021
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 426547801
A20 will use a meta-analytical approach to confront the CRC hypotheses with results generated under a broad range of contexts. Data from other projects of RESIST and from single and multiple stressor experiments with communities from different biogeographical and environmental con-texts will be analysed. It will examine to which extent community composition under stress can be predicted from the individual tolerance of taxa and the taxonomic and functional community change during phases of stress and recovery.
