The 500 MHz NMR spectrometer should be used for the research in the organic and inorganic chemistry as well as for different special NMR experiments. The main focus is the fast NMR analysis of chemical compounds, the manifold measurements of different hetero nuclei, one- and two-dimensional experiments, temperature dependent and kinetic studies and triple resonance experiments. Furthermore, the possibility of parallel acquisition should be used which is of particular interest for kinetic studies. The NMR instrument should be used in open access as well as in automatic mode. Therefore, the 500 MHz NMR spectrometer should be equipped with a broadband triple resonance probe, a sample changer and low temperature accessory.
