Project Details
RNA aptamers as sensors for the miR200-family of micro RNAs (A12*)
Subject Area
Biochemistry
Term
from 2021 to 2024
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 201269156
Micro RNAs play a pivotal role in numerous cellular key processes and they have been suggested as potential diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers in cancer. In order to understand their complex spatiotemporal dynamics function, within the here proposed project we plan to develop a detection system of the miR-200 family in human cells based on structured RNA-aptamers, so called fluorescent light-up aptamers.
