Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment (LCSA) methodologies (Life Cycle Assessment = LCA, Social Life Cycle Assessment = S-LCA, Life Cycle Costing = LCC, Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment = LCSA) help to identify ecological, economic, and social impacts of product systems. The second funding period aims to further advance LCSA for building components by integrating sustainability requirements and boundary conditions that build the basis for stakeholder-oriented interpretation criteria. The methods are conceptualized for building components made of Carbon Reinforced Concrete that shall be CO2-neutral along their life cycle.
