Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 414265976
In the first funding period, A05 investigated the fully automated integration of fibre reinforcements for various additive manufacturing processes of the TRR277 AMC. For this purpose, different fabrication strategies, end effectors and toolings were investigated and tested through physical prototypes in a laboratory environment in the Digital Building Fabrication Laboratory (DBFL). In the second funding period, more complex multi-component structural applications will be investigated under on-site and in situ fabrication conditions at the Digital Construction Site (DCS). To ensure robust processes, the reinforcement production as well as the robotic integration are sensed, the processes are controlled and the components are characterised by tests.
